Leonardo is the first dive computer designed and built entirely by Cressi with programming based on a modified Haldane and Wienke algorithm. An elegant expression of simple, functional design, the Leonardo is a must have for divers entering the sport and those who “just want to dive”.
The single button, user friendly interface makes it effortless to program air, nitrox and gauge modes the first time a diver picks the computer up: a short push changes function, longer push selects functions. Edge-to-edge, high-definition, backlit screen offers large numerical displays in a computer that is still compact and travel friendly. Graphic CNS oxygen toxicity indicator, decompression curve scrolling, built-in calendar and clock.
Distinct audible alarms, including ascent rate alarm (10 m per minute), deliver critical information as well as peace of mind during the dive.
The Leonardo provides all the most essential programming options. Full setting of FO2 parameters (oxygen percentage) and PO2 (oxygen partial pressure) with the option to set PO2 between 1.2 bar and 1.6 bar, and FO2 from 21% and 50%. 9 tissue saturation hemi-times ranging from 2.5 to 480 minutes. Deep stop can be turned on or off. Gauge setting option (depth gauge and timer) available. User can switch units of measure from Metric (meters and C°) to Imperial (feet and F°). Three levels of user-adjustable conservatism available.
Pre-programmed “Dive” analysis provides full processing of dive data, including decompression if applicable, for every dive performed for any air or hyper-oxygenated mixture (nitrox) dive.
Dive history is saved, and the diver has the option to add history to a dive log book (75 hr or 60 dives with 20-second sampling rate), complete with dive profile, using a PC or Mac interface.
The Leonardo can also be fully reset after each use, making it an excellent choice for rental departments.
